When we got to know each other better and she knew I was coming to Baja, Mexico and visiting dog shelters, she donated blankets, toys, food, bowls and even a dog wheelchair made by her and her dad. I donated all items to a local shelter in Ensenada where at the time of the donation I met Coco and Luna, I adopted these dogs on that trip. "I love to help dogs. When I heard that Cree was sending wheelchairs to India, I thought I could help too. So, I collected a bunch of new dog toys to send to India with Cree’s wheelchairs. After I finished collecting the toys, I visited Cree to drop off the toys. So, thanks to Cree I was able to send some dog toys to India and make some dogs in need very happy."

"Oh, my, Chetak!!! One of the hardest things that I have ever done is to leave California and not be able to see Chetak's happy face and bouncing ears every week! I've known Cree for over 20 years. "I had the great pleasure of meeting Cree while transporting a beautiful boy (diagnosed with medial luxating patella’s, he was unable to use is rear legs appropriately) from the San Jose Animal shelter to his rescue/foster in Rocklin CA.  In our brief encounter, Cree was very eager and passionate about her endeavors with Chetak Wheels and especially with aiding dogs who are in need of rescue. 
Cree patiently explained the mechanics of her chair design and how to appropriately fit it to the dog.  Chetak Wheels also allow for easy customizations for dogs of varying size, and she will gladly show you how to make those changes.

Her custom-made wheelchair for my paralyzed Yorkie made my life easy when I first got him from the rescue group. He now also has a “Walkin Wheels” chair so he can run in the mountains. "Our Indian boy Chetak got lucky when Cree fell in love with his photos and video. She looked beyond his disability and into his heart. 
India has a large number of street dogs with similar disabilities due to roadside accidents and illness. Cree’s self-designed “Chetak Wheels” brand of wheelchairs for dogs is being used by many shelters with paralyzed pups in India. All of these have been generously donated by her and her friends. "This wheelchair is made from PCV tubing and straps, weighs very little, and can be broken down for shipping or transporting at a cost of $70.  Cree went to India to deliver many of these wheelchairs to the very rescue that saved Chetak and many more across India. Cree and her dad now make these for rescue/shelter/needy pups in the USA.

"I first met Cree when she brought Chetak in to see me for physical therapy 4 years ago. Chetak and Cree are kindred spirits spreading unconditional love and joy wherever they go!  During Chetak’s time in therapy, he test drove a few carts to improve his mobility. A few months in, he had skis, hiking wheels, street wheels, indoor wheels and more creative contraptions to ensure his ability to live life to its fullest every day.
